Micah can "say" yes when asked a question by lifting his arms or by glancing quickly down to the left, pictured below.
After experimenting for two years with various areas of access we discovered Micah is successful at hitting a switch with his chin. He is also able to hit a switch with his left arm/ wrist after having Botox injections. We tried out several different types of communication devices and discovered the software, Speaking Dynamically Pro. We run this on an Apple laptop. We use a DonJohnson converter connected to a single switch. We go back and forth between the chin and arm. We are still in the process of learning ourselves and teaching Micah more complex communications skills.
